Smaller cities and non-metros leveraging the state of the art technology to open new golf courses will only auger well for widening the players base while also contributing to the local economy and the GDP at large.

An MBA by qualification, Anit Mehrotra has over 25 glorious years of experience in the golfing industry. Prior to joining SGDC, Anit was Executive Director of the Ransomes and Jacobsen + E-Z-GO representative company in India, responsible for the marketing and sales of world leading brands in turf care and electric carts.
Anit served as Financial Controller for The ITC group (Landbase India Ltd) and was involved in projects like the first high end condominiums in Gurgaon, The Laburnum, and the first international standard 27 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course till 2006.
He has a golf management background, having been involved in the construction of Classic Golf Resort during his tenure at ITC.
