The game of Golf has grown significantly in the last decade or so in the country. However, the potential in the game itself and for the primary, secondary and tertiary industries associated with golf unfortunately still remains to be tapped to its fullest.

Smaller cities and non-metros leveraging the state of the art technology to open new golf courses will only auger well for widening the players base while also contributing to the local economy and the GDP at large.

All stakeholders associated with the game including the government have to work in tandem and progressively to ensure that India’s truly capitalizes the numerous advantages the game brings to the fore.

"Following an extensive technical evaluation process, Pacific Coast Design (PCD) appointed SGDC India in 2014 to carry out all of the golf construction, irrigation and grassing /grow-in works for the nine-hole redevelopment of Delhi Golf Club. This work involved a total redevelopment of all fairways, greens, tees and bunkers to International standards.
